Repurposing one post into 4 assets with AI voice

Writing one good piece takes real effort. Using it only once wastes most of that effort. This workflow turns one post into four assets, including an audio version made with an AI voice tool, in about an hour.

Start with a strong source post

Pick something with a clear idea and practical steps: a how-to, a lesson learned, a checklist. Opinion pieces with no steps are harder to repurpose. Make sure the original is edited and accurate first; every error multiplies when you repurpose.

Asset 1: a short social thread or post

Here is my article: [paste]
Turn it into a 6-part thread for X/LinkedIn. Part 1 is a hook that states the
problem plainly. Each part is one idea, under 250 characters. Keep my wording where
possible. No hashtags, no emojis, no claims that aren't in the article.

Edit the hook yourself. It's the part AI is worst at and the part that matters most.

Asset 2: a carousel or slide summary

Ask the AI for 6–8 slide texts: a title slide, one step per slide, and a closing slide pointing to the full article. Keep each slide to about 20 words. Drop the text into a design tool (Canva or similar) using a saved template in your brand colours so every carousel looks consistent with almost no design work.

Asset 3: a 60–90 second audio clip

Audio reaches people while they commute or cook. You can record it yourself, which is often best, or use an AI text-to-speech tool if you're short on time or not comfortable recording yet.

Pair the audio with a simple static image or your slide title to post it as a short video.

Asset 4: a newsletter section

Condense the article to 150–200 words with one key takeaway and a link to the full post. This fits straight into the "One Thing" slot of a weekly newsletter, so one piece of writing also covers your email for the week.

A simple schedule

Spacing them out means each asset gets attention, and people who missed one format may catch another.

Quality checks before publishing

Repurposing isn't about flooding every platform. It's about giving one good idea a fair chance to reach the people who'd find it useful, in the format they prefer.
